Nas Demo Tape

’ve had this for a minute but recently got a few requests to up it for the Blind I faithful. Nas was about 18 years old when he recorded most of the tracks that were to be featured on his demo tape. His lyrical prowess was astonishing for a 18 year old kid, but what was even crazier was that he dropped out of school in 8th grade and still managed to be so technically sound with his wordplay and vocabulary. Attribute that to his study of the Five Percenter lessons, the Bible, and the Qu’ran. Long story short, Nas was and continues to be a rebel to America. Grab this piece of history and throw it in the archives for a rainy day when you feel like stunting on someone. Check one of my favorite joints, Life Is Like A Dice Game, and then hit the jump for the tracklisting and the download link.
